Producer-director Nivedita Basu is a close friend of Eijaz Khan. Recently Nivedita revealed details about Eijaz’s traumatic childhood and said that she was shocked that Eijaz said ‘yes’ to participate in Bigg Boss.
She said “He has gone through a lot in his childhood. I was surprised when he said he is going for the game. I was like, ‘With your nature, temperament and tolerance level, will you be able to sustain?”
Nivedita and Eijaz have known each other for almost 16 years. They have worked together in many Balaji projects like Kahin toh hoga and kavyanjali. She also revealed that although they are not able to be in constant touch with each other, they still share a very strong bond.
The producer also said that she hopes that Eijaz wins the show and also urged fans to vote for him. She said “I am praying for him and I also hope that his fans support him through and through and he wins!”
During an immunity task Eijaz had revealed that he was molested as a child and thus does not like being touched. He also said that this is something with which he is trying to cope even today.
