Actor and former Bigg Boss winner Gauahar Khan has praised Salman Khan for addressing the recent body-shaming incident involving Tanya Mittal, Neelam Giri, and Ashnoor Kaur during Weekend Ka Vaar.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Gauahar shared a video expressing her appreciation for the host’s firm stance on the matter. She said, “Yes, Salman Khan did it and said everything possible that was meant to be said to Tanya and Neelam for Ashnoor.”
She continued, “That’s what I meant by empathy, love, and tolerance more than anything, and also by acceptance of everyone for who they are. I’m extremely happy and excited that this happened on Weekend Ka Vaar, you can’t deny it.”
Gauahar’s reaction came after Salman called out Tanya and Neelam for making derogatory remarks about Ashnoor’s body appearance, reminding the contestants that such behavior is unacceptable in the house or outside it.
The actress also noted that Ashnoor looked her best over the Weekend Ka Vaar, compared to her previous looks over the weekend.
Gauahar’s video has since gone viral, earning praise for highlighting the importance of accountability and sensitivity on national television, and reinforcing that Bigg Boss 19 is not just about entertainment — it’s also about learning respect and compassion.
