Music composer and Bigg Boss contestant Amaal Mallik is currently trending on social media — but not for the right reasons. Netizens have expressed disappointment and frustration after it was revealed that Amaal was also involved in Shehbaz Badesha’s prank, yet chose to remain silent when the truth came out.

The prank, which initially seemed harmless, took a serious turn once the housemates discovered it. While everyone demanded Shehbaz to reveal who his partner-in-crime was, he repeatedly insisted that he had acted alone. As a result, Shehbaz faced intense backlash and was cornered by housemates during the confrontation.

However, viewers watching closely knew that Amaal had also played a part in the prank. Instead of stepping forward, he allowed Shehbaz to bear the brunt of the criticism entirely on his own. This has not gone down well with fans.

Social media is buzzing with angry reactions, with many calling Amaal’s silence “cowardly” and “unfair.” One of the post read, “Kya Amaal Mallik ne prank chori accept na karke galti ki aur pura blame sirf Shehbaz pe daal diya? Is he really SPINELESS & FATTU jo khud aage badhkar nahi bola ki wo bhi involved tha?” Another post read, “Amaal Mallik kitni chalaki se har jagah Shehbaz ko aage karta raha. Shehbaz sabke beech mein humiliate hota raha, but Amaal did not admit that he was also involved. Completely disappointed.”

However, not everyone was against the musician as a certain section of netizens also believes that the prank was harmless and it was blown out of proportion. One of the user wrote, “Amaal Mallik did nothing wrong… That doesn’t make him[Shehbaz] spineless… Stop this PR-driven bullshit.” Another penned, “No one has a clue that he is the mastermind behind hiding all the stuff n not that. I can’t stop laughing.”

 

For now, Amaal has not addressed the controversy, but the damage to his image outside the house seems evident. As the game moves forward, it remains to be seen whether he will finally confess in front of the housemates — or continue to let Shehbaz take the fall alone.
