By now everyone is aware of the drama that unfolded in the latest episode of ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ Bigg Boss season 16. Sumbul Touqeer’s father lashed out on Tina Datta for not protecting his 18-year-old daughter like her own younger sister. He even accused Tina of not only provoking Shalin Bhanot, but also spreading rumours about his daughter to every housemate in the Bigg Boss house.
This has led to a lot of controversy outside of Bigg Boss 16’s house. Especially the fans of Tina Datta and even other netizens did not like the way Colors Tv and Bigg Boss makers seemed biased towards Sumbul. A lot of them have voiced their opinions against this. They even feel a lot of unnecessary footage is given to lead actresses of Colors’ shows: Nimrit Ahluwalia and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. Nimrit was the first one to enter in Bigg Boss 16 house; not by choice but by the decision of the makers. Later, Bigg Boss made her the captain even before any other contestant entered the house and even assigned her the very first task of giving rooms to everyone. Clearly Nimrit was biased towards even when the audience felt she failed miserably in her captaincy.
Now, after Touqeer’s father bashing Tina Datta, her father has come forward in support of his beloved daughter. He seems really angry by the stunt pulled by makers of calling Sumbul’s father and making him tell Sumbul what everyone is doing. He has voiced his opinion on the whole fiasco.
He said, “Papa Gaye toh dono ke jaane chaiye the. Age se thodi nah yeh hota hai ki woh chotti hai toh uske papa jayenge guide Karne. Reality show pe sab equal hai – kaam, age, audha koi mayene nahi rakhta hai, sab contestant hai Ek hi stage pe. Tina ne apni aur se har waqt sahi salah di thi jisse Sumbul hurt nahi ho aur Sumbul ka soch ke hi toh Tina ne yeh baat pehle hi clear karne ke liye bola tha …main yehi bolunga ki apni beti ko uthane ke liye, dusre ki beti ko neecha nahi dikhana chaiye.”
