Bigg Boss season 16’s one of the most controversial contestants is Shalin Bhanot after the #MeToo accused Sajid Khan — the Bollywood director. We all have seen the flamboyant side of Shalin Bhanot. We all have definitely seen the suspiciously romantic side of the TV actor. But in one of clips doing rounds on one of his social media handles — Instagram, shows him in a very soft and kind light.

In the clip, Shalin Bhanot is seen sharing one of his pandemic stories with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and her rumoured boyfriend Ankit Gupta. He is seen telling how lonely he had gotten owing to the lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic. He was living alone when the deadly pandemic hit the entire world and brought the entire world to a stand still.

He narrated a sweet anecdote to Priyanka and Ankit about how he got to know of a small puppy who was seeking shelter during pandemic. Since, it was a lockdown, the he could not move out to rescue the furry friend, he sent for an ambulance to fetch the dog for him.

He said, he named the puppy Swag and that’s when he started getting better with his mental health. He mentioned how Swag helped him get over his mental illness. He had never had a dog as a pet. Therefore, taking care of a little puppy and figuring out what each breed would eat and how to brush dogs’ teeth was something that he learnt during that time. All this kept him occupied and Shalin owes his life to his dog Swag, who is a grown up dog now, capable of jumping up to his shoulder.
