Nimrit Ahluwalia was seen protecting Shiv Thakare to become a captain during last night’s telecast of Bigg Boss season 16. During the captaincy task given by Bigg Boss to the housemates in last night’s episode, contestants had to enter the activity area, which was designed almost similar to the nominations’ setup day before yesterday. There was a seat kept in the haunted room. Upon a horrifying laughter of what sounded like a witch, the activity area door would be opened and the contestants had to enter it and the one to sit first on the seat would become the captain. But not so easily. Bigg Boss then started calling in the remaining contestants one at a time inside the activity room and making them choose between ration or the contestant sitting on the captaincy chair; in this case, Shiv Thakare. IF the called-in contestant chose ration, then they had the choice of either sharing it with others or just keep it to themselves.
The first contestant to be called by Bigg Boss was Nimrit Ahluwalia. She was made to read two envelopes lying there, which had ration in them. After much thinking and persuasion by Shiv himself, she chose Shiv and rejected the ration. Later, Bigg Boss announced the ration that Nimrit didn’t choose for the housemates or herself. This didn’t go down well with a lot of contestants, including Nimrit’s best friend forever in the house, Gautam Singh Vig. Even Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot looked disappointed. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was obviously angry at her arch rival Nimrit.
In the second round, when Gautam got to sit on the captain’s chair, Bigg Boss called in Soundarya Sharma, who also chose Gautam over ration. But, no one really said anything against Soundarya. This irked Nimrit, who was also shown a reality check by Bigg Boss. This led to a massive chain of fights in the house. Gautam was fighting with Nimrit and Priyanka with Shiv.
