Manya Singh, the runner-up in the Femina Miss India 2020 competition, is now appearing on the Salman Khan-hosted reality competition “Bigg Boss 16.” She went into great depth about her difficulties in life and how her skin tone prevented her from finding employment in the field.
Life has never been simple for her because she is the daughter of an auto rickshaw driver. She said to the presenter that they don’t want her to be overwhelmed thus her mother goes by local train and her father still drives an auto rickshaw.
Six years of battle later, Manya Singh is the runner-up for Miss India 2020. She claimed that although many people believe life is simple after winning these pageants, the reality is otherwise, and she went two years without finding employment.
Manya Singh said: “People think after becoming Miss India life changes altogether, but the reality is not this. I had no work for two years. Either because of skin tone or any other reason, I was told that ‘you can’t get the work’.”
Salman responded by assuring her that after her time on this show, she will undoubtedly land a nice job and find life to be a lot simpler. Also mentioned by Manya was her request for her father to drive her anywhere she needed to go. Salman was also taught how to use the ramp by her.
Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Abdu Rozik, Shalin Bhanot, Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Sumbul Touqeer, and many more are among the contestants on the show in addition to Manya Singh.
