While the actor managed to stay in the house until the last week of Bigg Boss Marathi, the struggle for survival on the Salman Khan show would be difficult for him because his competitor Nimrit Ahluwalia has nominated him.
To prevent the tension that would arise, Shiv requested Nimrit in a nice manner to wait while they talked privately someplace else. However, Nimrit erred in his interpretation of Shiv’s motives and engaged in combat. Later, when the nominations were revealed, Nimrit was shown explicitly nominating Shiv Thakare and explaining that she had done so purely as a result of their altercation.
