Ankit Gupta is the most recent participant to be sent out of the Bigg Boss 16 house. Ankit, a quiet man, was able to last more than 12 weeks on the show despite his lack of verbal communication. Bigg Boss audience adored him for his calm demeanour. Ankit never lost his anger, not even during heated disputes. Surprisingly, the audience vote did not result in his elimination, which many fans are calling “unfair” and “pre-planned.”
Ankit was booted out when Bigg Boss asked the housemates to choose the nominee who has made the least contribution to the show in the previous 24 hours out of Ankit, Sreejita De, Vikkas Manaktala, and Tina Datta. Ankit was eliminated by seven candidates, including Archana Gautam, Shiv Thakare, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. Ankit has now spoken out about being kicked off the show. “I believe Tina Datta should have been eliminated instead of me. She doesn’t add anything to the show. She has taken a backseat; she isn’t direct or plays aggressively” explained Ankit in conversation with the host Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah on Bigg Buzz . Further Ankit went on to say that Shalin Bhanot is frequently “misunderstood” on the show and lauded him for being “a nice guy.”
