Bigg Boss 14: Jasmin Bhasin and Shardul Pandit reminisce about their ‘prank-calling’ days

Shardul Pandit and Jasmin Bhasin talk about the times when they used to call strangers up at odd hours to prank them.

Do you remember the time when we didn’t have a smartphone glued to our hands? The only phones we would be hooked on used to be those wired landlines. People would learn the landline numbers of their loved ones by heart. Jasmin Bhasin and Shardul Pandit opened up about their childhood when they would use the phones to prank others.

In a recent episode of Bigg Boss Xtra Masala, Shardul revealed that he and his cousins used to prank strangers. They had a free landline and used to call random numbers to ask if they had water that day. Once, he had even called the police to lie about a theft. Jasmin then told him that she used to gossip with random aunties before handing the phone to her brother. The actor would use her brother as a defense, saying that he is demented and so it was he who would call random people.

Shardul then said that some stranger would call their place late at night, claiming they are God. Jasmin then goes on to talk about her threatening father and uncle who used to make sure no one would prank call them. She goes on to add that their fear wouldn’t even let people walk past their house. Her uncle would also keep a lookout and if by chance any boy from her school passed by the house, that would have been his end.
