Bigg Boss 14: Eijaz Khan reveals he was ‘blind’ for three years

In a conversation with Abhinav Shukla, Eijaz Khan opened up about his health complications.

One can’t make a judgment about Eijaz Khan by just looking at him. Being from a broken household, the actor has been through a lot. But in a recent conversation with Abhinav Shukla, he opened up about his serious health complications.

In an episode of Bigg Boss Xtra Masala, Eijaz reveals to Abhinav that he is claustrophobic. He then goes on to talk about the series of incidents that triggered it. The actor has Arachnoid Cyst in his brain due to which he had lost his vision when he was young. Luckily, it is yet passive. Abhinav advised him to keep a check on his diet to which the actor responded by saying that he consults doctors from New Jersey.

He talks about the symptoms that lead to them discovering the cyst. In the first standard, he could see the board but not his books. He then went blind for two years. Gradually, he started having pain stemming from migraines. Due to this, he used to remain in his room with the lights switched off, all alone. This behaviour triggered claustrophobia in him.

Slowly but gradually, he started to accept himself and learned to live with it. Eijaz started considering it as his superpower, which only he has access to and nobody else.
