Bigg Boss 14: Eijaz Khan reminisces his monastic mornings with Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla

Eijaz Khan shares his monastic morning routine with Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik while preparing a healthy meal.

The current season of Bigg Boss has two kinds of followers: the evening routine followers and the patriots. The first kind watch the show as part of their evening routine. But the latter are absolutely patriotic. These followers do not only keep a careful eye on happenings inside the house but also on their favorite contestants whom they are beginning to know personally.  Now that the show is more than 30 days in, contestants are continuing to reveal much more about their personalities and interests. In a recent snippet of Bigg Boss Extra Masala, Rubina Dilaik, Eijaz Khan, and Abhinav Shukla shared treasured memories from their childhood and the culture they grew up in.

While chopping vegetables at the kitchen counter, something about it reminded Abhinav of pigeons which encouraged him to call them the worst kind of birds. Rubina, however, thinks that pigeons are, in fact, the best kind in the bird kingdom. Eijaz thinks so too. Re-opinionating his comments, Abhinav went on to say that they were useful because they drove sparrows away.

Speaking of sparrows, Eijaz reminisced his days when he played with sparrows as a young boy. He lived in a clean and healthy society where everyone had positive and fresh routines. Every morning he would wake up early to the sweet chirping of sparrows which he earns to listen to now. As a young boy, he slept inside his father’s bedroom: a vast room with three, wide balconies. He says that he misses the morning breeze and waking up to the sight of the horizon and his father drinking brewed coffee and reading the paper.

Eijaz then shared an important habit that his father disciplined him with. After finishing his morning chores, his father sat him down and read the paper to him. He made Eijaz read the editorials and then explained about the things that were going on. According to his father, the smartest man is one who is capable of reading the entire paper without missing a single article.
