The Bigg Boss 14 house has been a witness to a lot of fights between the contestants. While they often fight, they also bond over their memories. Celebrating the joy of the festive season, in a recent task, the contestants became each other’s Santa and gave them gifts. These gifts were letters from their family members and left the contestants teary-eyed. In the latest Extra Masala clip, Jasmin Bhasin and Abhinav Shukla talk about their memories of writing letters.
As the clip begins, Jasmin is seen cycling as she tries to earn the letter for Abhinav. The actor who is around supporting her tells her about the time he used to write letters to his brother. He tells the other how his brother used to write a detailed letter. Abhinav adds that in the letter that his family wrote in reply, had a section for each member. “Papa ne basic likh dena hai. Sab ghar ka mahol. Phir mama ne poore hindi mein likh dena,” he says. Then he says that during his turn he used to draw circuits to tell his brother what he was working on. Abhinav adds that his brother used to reply with ‘abey bakwass kam likh‘.
They then talk about how the letters required five days to a week before it was delivered. Jasmin shares that she used to send Rakhis along with a long letter. When Abhinav points out that he still gets it, Jasmin says that it isn’t the same feeling. They both agree that with technology, everything changed. The feeling of writing letters isn’t the same anymore.
The video ends with Jasmin telling the other, “Aane wali generations toh in sab cheezo ki value nahi enjoy kar payegi.”
