The highly anticipated 25th season of Big Brother premieres on Wednesday, August 2, from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. Big Brother launches its landmark 25th season with a special 90-minute episode, with a group of all-new Houseguests moving into the Big Brother House. This summer, anticipate the unexpected with a season full of twists, turns, and throwbacks to the previous 24 seasons. Following the debut, the evictions will show on Sundays (8:00-9:00 p.m.), Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 p.m.), and Thursdays (9:00-10:00).

Big Brother is an American television reality competition show based on the original Dutch reality show of the same name, which debuted in 1997 and was conceived by producer John de Mol. The character in George Orwell’s 1949 novel Nineteen Eighty-Four inspired the title of the series. The American series premiered on CBS on July 5, 2000, and is presently the second longest-running edition in the Big Brother franchise, following the Spanish version.
