1Actor and model Abhinav Shukla, who will soon be seen in stunt-based reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, opens up about his bond with fellow contestant Rahul Vaidya. Earlier, Abhinav and Rahul were a part of Colors TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss 14’ where both of them were often captured arguing with each other.
The actor told Pinkvilla, “See, Bigg Boss is a different show altogether. There, people will drag you down if they feel they’re moving ahead. If you’re marching ahead of them, they’ll try to bring you down. But, what I was on Bigg Boss, I was on Fear Factor, no change. The thing is, a show never defines you, you define the show.”
“I was the same. Rahul was a little different. He was more pally. I wouldn’t say we’ve become amazing friends, but there’s no more… There was a disliking for each other, which was mutual. But now that disliking has taken a back seat. But yes, I won’t say we’re thick friends, ” he added.
Earlier, talking with a leading daily, Rahul confessed that now he shares a much better bond with Abhinav. He said, “During Bigg Boss 14, we would not see each other eye-to-eye, not sit together or talk or in fact, we never sat across a table to have food, because the nature of the show was such. But Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 is totally different. I am not a person who likes to have baggage in life, apne aap ko jitna khali rakho, light rakho (the lighter you keep yourself) you go ahead in life. I don’t have the patience and the strength to hold on to the grudges. That’s why I am very happy that we have moved on.”
