After winning hearts with amazing performances in super hits such as Sanju, Uri: The Surgical Strike and Manmarziyaan, the very handsome and extremely versatile Vicky Kaushal has proved to the T when it comes to diverse roles. According to reports, the actor has signed his first ever comedy with Yash Raj Films, which will be announced at the golden jubilee celebration of the premiere production house. Well latest reports suggest that YRF has found the ideal co-star for Vicky and it’s none other than former Miss World Manushi Chhillar.
Talking to Pinkvilla, a trade source revealed, “Manushi has definitely been signed on opposite Vicky in the YRF comedy. This project is part of YRF Project 50 and we expect the announcement to happen soon. Manushi is definitely the debutant to keep an eye on because she has bagged two very big films – Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj and Vicky’s next with YRF. She is being groomed by Aditya Chopra for a while now and has showed immense potential. Manushi landed the two films completely on her own merit.”
Calling Vicky and Manushi “a super fun pairing”, the source said that they are young, good looking and a refreshing pair who will bring something new to the table. It was further revealed that the co-stars are all set to meet for the very first time at YRF, where Vicky has already began prepping for the film. YRF’s comedy opposite Vicky will mark Manushi’s second Bollywood film. The diva is all to set to debut with Aditya Chopra’s historical action drama Prithviraj opposite Akshay Kumar.
