Sushant Singh Rajput to be awarded in Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival in 2021?

After the reports of Sushant Singh being given Padma Bhushan, Phalke Film Festival is said to have officially announced to honour the late actor.


The sudden demise of versatile and talented Sushant Singh Rajput shocked the nation entirely when the actor was found dead in his Bandra apartment on 14th June. Not only his family but all his fans around the country are seen demanding justice for the actor refuting all the speculations about suicide. Where actor’s father KK Singh lodged a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty, Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Department have been looking into the matter where numerous angles have been arising in the matter. Rhea recently appeared in front of media to answer a few allegations made on her and a day later CBI grilled the actress for complete 10 hours.

According to a report by ABP Live, Sushant Singh Rajput is going to be honored at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards in 2021. Recently, California Legislature Assembly on 74th Independence day had also acknowledged the contribution of the late actor to the film industry about which Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti had shared online. A few earlier reports also suggest that the actor could be awarded by prestigious Padma-Bhushan award.

Sushant Singh’s Dil Bechara sought to be his last movie which was released on OTT platform rather than big-screens due to global pandemic situation. Dil Bechara got great response from the audience with over 95 million views in just 24 hours apart from his fans appealing the makers to release it in theaters in his memories.
