Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Shekhar Suman calls out testimonies tarnishing late actor’s name, says ‘It is unfair and inhuman’

Shekhar Suman feels that it is unfair that Sushant’s name is being tarnished by the ‘women’ who’ve provided testimonies about his alleged drug use.

Shekhar Suman is one of the actors who have been demanding justice for Sushant Singh Rajput ever since his mysterious death. The actor is actively seen voicing out his opinions on social media regarding the case. Recently, Shekhar has slammed all the confessions by the ‘women’ on Sushant’s character. Condemning such testimonies, the actor shared the issue on Twitter stating that Sushant’s reputation is being harmed. In the tweet, Shekhar called the allegations ‘unfair’, as Sushant could not defend himself.

He wrote, “All the confessions and testimonials of the women being probed for the drug case are tarnishing Sushant’s name calling him a drug addict. Also attacking his character. This is so unfair and inhuman, for a dead man cannot defend himself.”

Soon after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, Shekhar Suman had visited his family in Patna. The actor had also campaigned for a CBI investigation into Sushant’s untimely demise and has time and again urged that the late actor should get justice.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on 14th June at his Bandra residence, leaving the nation in shock. The 34 year old actor was in a relationship with Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant’s father had accused her of abetment to suicide. Last month, Rhea was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection to the drug angle which emerged from Sushant’s death probe. Several Bollywood celebrities have also been questioned by the NCB in connection to the drugs probe.
