NCB along with CBI and ED has been investigating Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case after there was the possibility of a drug angle. In September, they had arrested Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty on charges of drug procurement. Sushant’s former house manager Samuel Miranda and staff Dipesh Sawant were also arrested by the NCB.

According to Pinkvilla, Dipesh Sawant, who was arrested on the charges of procurement of drugs and connection with peddlers, was on bail and went to the Bombay High Court to file a petition against NCB. He has accused them of illegal detention before being produced in the court. He also said that his fundamental rights have been violated because he was produced before the magistrate court within 24 hours.

His petition says that he was taken into their custody on 4th September and they allegedly produced him in the court 36 hours later. He also said that the NCB has wrongly recorded about him being arrested on 5th September at 8 pm. He has now demanded a compensation of Rs 10 lakh and necessary action against the officials of NCB.
