
On 8th September, the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Rhea Chakraborty while investigating the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. She was later sent to 14-days judicial custody by the Bombay special court. Her bail pleas were rejected by the magistrate, as well as, sessions court. On this, quite a few B-town celebs came out in support of her. Rhea’s best friend Shibani Dandekar demanded her release by sharing her photo on social media. Shibani’s sister Anusha too reportedly did the same. However, the sisters have now deleted their #ReleaseRhea posts.
The picture of Rhea from the time she was being taken to the jail by NCB was shared by Shibani on her Instagram handle. In the caption, she had demanded for Rhea’s release and justice for her. However, the post has now been deleted. Sister Anusha too has deleted the post from her Instagram. Designer Anisha Jain too is said to have deleted the post.
However, stars like Saqib Saleem, Monica Dogra and others still have #ReleaseRhea posts on their social media.
