Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty was arrested by NCB on Friday along with Samuel Miranda. Actress Rhea Chakraborty’s father Indrajit Chakraborty on Saturday issued a statement condemning his son’s arrest of drug abuse linked with late Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case.
NDTV sources accessed the statement from Indrajit Chakraborty and it read, “Congratulations India you have arrested my son, I am sure next on the line is my daughter and I don’t know who is next thereafter. You have effectively demolished a middle class family. But of course, for the sake of justice everything is justified. Jai Hind”.
Currently NCB has not found any traces of drug in Showik and Samuel’s house but they were taken into custody after a interrogation session of 10 hours. Rhea is also under the suspect of NCB and they are investigating for solid proof. CBI and ED are looking into other priorities of the case.
