Rhea Chakraborty interrogated for 10 hours by CBI, summoned for a second time today

Rhea Chakraborty was interrogated for 10 hours by the CBI in the Sushant Singh Rajput case and is also summoned again on 29th August

In the recent development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, actor Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty were questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday, 28th August. The two were questioned at the DRDO guest house for almost 10 hours. After leaving the place at 9pm, the duo directly headed towards the Santacruz police station.

News agency ANI also reported the same on twitter: “#SushantSinghRajputDeathCase: Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty at Santa Cruz Police Station in Mumbai.” (sic)

According to the reports by NDTV, Rhea Chakraborty has been summoned again by the federal probing agency in the case. It is said that Rhea and her brother Showik went to the police station to ask for personal security from the Mumbai police. The actor also posted a video on Thursday, 27th August, asking the Mumbai Police to protect them from the media persons and also filed a petition to stop the media trial.

The channel also reported that CBI had questioned Rhea about her demand for having a CBI inquiry in the case. She was also asked about her relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput and why she left his apartment on 8th June. The CBI is also believed to have asked Rhea about her visit at the Cooper Hospital’s mortuary on June 14 to see Sushant’s dead body. The actor was reportedly questioned by Nupur Prasad, the officer who is leading the team in Mumbai.

Earlier in an interview with Aaj Tak, Rhea had broken her silence after more than 2 months and denied all allegations against her. She mentioned that every allegation against her is baseless.
