NCB while investigating the Bollywood drug nexus had seized the phones of many celebs and lately have sent them for examination.

Sushant Singh Rajput case is still under investigation and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), who unearthed an entire Bollywood drug nexus through a drug link that was discovered in the case has made significant developments in connection with the same. The agency also arrested the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty on charges of procurement and consumption of drugs. However, Bombay High Court granted her bail a few days ago.

Many big names from the film industry had surfaced during the investigation like Deepika Padukone, Rakul Preet Singh, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and all these actresses were summoned and quizzed NCB in connection with the same. Now, in the fresh update on the case, Times of India has reported that 15 phones of the celebs who were involved in the probe are currently being examined. They have been reportedly sent to the Directorate of Forensic Sciences (DFS) which is situated in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The report also mentioned a quote of a senior official associated with the case on condition of anonymity. The senior refused to identify the owners of the devices sent to Gandhinagar and said, “The agency has sought all the data on the devices – which would include contact lists, messages, social media conversations and media files. It is possible that the data might help the investigators in establishing a few facts or getting new details related to interplay of the accused in the case.”
