Naruto to return with 4 new episodes on their 20th Anniversary

All weebs have received a pleasant surprise as the hit anime series Naruto has announced to release of new episodes to mark the celebration of their 20th anniversary. It’s been a while since the last time fans of Naruto could tune in and watch new episodes of Masashi Kishimoto’s legendary ninja classic, but that’s now no longer the case. The new episodes will begin airing in September 2023 for all fans to see.

Unfortunately, the announcement does not include any details about what the new episodes will be about, but as per reports, the story is expected to happen somewhere in the timeline of the original series. There is also speculation that the four episodes will be remakes of important past ones, similar to how Naruto’s anime previously celebrated its anniversary.

The announcement of new episodes was made on Naruto’s official website. The website stated, ” Starting in September, a new anime project will begin( 4 episodes total planned) in celebration of the 20th anniversary!”

Naruto follows the story of Naruto Uzumaki, an orphan whose parents lived in the ninja enclave of Konoha (Hidden Leaf Village). Determined to one day serve as the Hokage or village leader Naruto begins his studies at the Village’s local ninja academy. The story revolves around his struggles and his rigorous training to become a great ninja. The original anime adaptation, Hayato Date’s Naruto premiered in 2002 and ran for 220 episodes. The follow up series Naruto Shippuden aired shortly after Naruto ended. Soon after Naruto Shippuden ended a new series Boruto: Naruto next generation started , the story of Boruto revolves around Naruto’s son Boruto and other young generation ninjas of the village.
