Hema Malini, while speaking to NDTV about the allegations of drug usage in Bollywood, questioned why only one industry is being targeted when there are so many
industries out there in which these things are prevalent and that it is happening worldwide everywhere. “Must have happened in our industry also, that doesn’t mean the entire industry is bad. The way in which people are targeting Bollywood is bad. It is not like that at all,” she said.

Jaya Bachchan’s speech was backed by many Bollywood celebs including Taapsee Pannu, Anubhav Sinha, Richa Chadha among others.
