Emraan Hashmi ‘super excited’ for his upcoming comedy ‘Sab First Class Hai’; shares post on Instagram

Directed by screenwriter Balwinder Singh Janjua, the film shall be realistic portrayal of daily life experience.

Actor Emraan Hashmi has been recently bagged in an upcoming comedy film directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua named ‘Sab First Class Hai.’ Janjua’s film shall be based on realistic comedy, has casted Emraan who is actually famous for his adult dramas. The first announcement of the film was done by Taran Adarsh, followed by Emraan himself disclosing about the film on his social media handles. The film is to be produced by Deepak Mukut, Shivanshu Pandey and Abhay Sinha and shall be presented by Nishant Pitti.

Hashmi was seen in light comedy roles in Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji and Ghanchakkar where most of his movies are around crime or thriller genre. He was last seen on screen in the film The Body besides Shobhita Dhulipala and in Bard of Blood, a series on Netflix. In Hashmi’s earlier years of career, he was tagged as ‘serial kisser’, which never took personally. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Emraan had said, “When you evolve as an actor and try to explore new and varied avenues, the tag becomes sort of a deterrent for you. People tend to like you more in a particular kind of role. But for every actor, there is a saturation point. I think I have reached it now, and need to find new kinds of roles.”

Emraan has been away from the screen for a while, but his upcoming projects include Sanjay Gupta’s Mumbai Saga and he shall even allegedly be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi along side with Alia Bhatt.
