Deepika Padukone arrives at NCB office to record her statement in drug case

NCB will be quizzing Deepika Padukone on her links with the drug nexus in the Bollywood industry.

Actor Deepika Padukone has arrived at the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office after the agency summoned her in connection with the drug links following the alleged drug chats that had surfaced.

The actress very cleverly outplayed the media as she arrived well ahead of her time. It can also be understood that after arriving to Mumbai she was not present at her Prabhadevi residence as the media was waiting for her outside the residence and that she was staying at some undisclosed location. Deepika was seen arriving at the office in an ordinary car which also helped her to trick media in following her.

Lately, Deepika Padukone has been making the headlines for all the wrong reasons and has landed herself into a big trouble as her name has been dragged in the highly investigated drug nexus case by the Narcotics Control Bureau. The Bajirao Mastani actor’s name surfaced in the case along with actors Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh.

On 24th September, Deepika flew back to Mumbai from Goa as she was supposed to be present before the agency on 25th September (yesterday) but ANI had reported that the actress had submitted to join the investigation on 26th September (today).

Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash was quizzed by the agency alongside Rakul Preet Singh on Friday and she is likely to be called again today. Karishma’s questioning went on for much longer than Rakul’s which lasted four hours as reported by NDTV.
