Shilpa Shetty backs herself amid controversy and “is determined to rise” in her Instagram post

After Raj Kundra’s arrest by the Mumbai Police for producing porn films, Shilpa and her family were trolled on social media. Some of them even raised questions about Shilpa being involved in the case. But with a fighting spirit, Shilpa is back in the limelight with her recent post on Instagram.

Ever since Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly producing porn for mobile apps, trolls chased Shilpa and her family. Memes were going viral on social media platforms joking about Shilpa and her kids as well. But Shilpa remained silent till the last. The controversy even led to give her position as a judge on the dance reality show, Super Dancer Chapter 4. There were no updates on her social media profiles except promoting her then-upcoming film, Hungama 2.

But recently Shilpa has broken this chain of silence and she is back again with her dazzling photoshoot. In her Instagram post, she posted pics of her photoshoot. Shilpa is wearing a floral saree in blue with a matching blouse and jewellery. She captioned the post as, “There is no force more powerful than a woman determined to rise. (emoticon of sparkles and an eye)…..#SuperDancerChapter4 #OOTD #lookoftheday #style #gratitude #blessed.” Reacting to the post, Sussanne Khan wrote, “Absolutely.”

Reportedly she has resumed judging Super Dancer Chapter 4, in the show after watching a performance of Rani Laxmi Bai her words were filled with women empowerment. She said, “”Main Jhansi ki Rani ke baare mein jab bhi sunti hu, mujhe aise lagta hai ke samaj ka chehra dikta hai. Kyun ki aaj bhi, aurat ko apne haq ke liye, apne pati ke baad, ladai ladni padti hai, apne asistva ke liye, apne bachcho ke liye. (When I think of Jhansi Ki Rani, I imagine her face. This is because even today women have to fight for their rights after their husbands, for their identity, for their children). Along with remarks she hinted about her criticism and trolling in the Raj Kundra case.
