
Indians mourn the passing away of Dr. Manmohan Singh, and has labelled it as one of the major loss for the country, as the former prime minister was the architect behind liberalizing the Indian economy. Singh, who have also served as Finance Minister, is regarded as the man who revived the Indian economy when it facing its gravest financial crisis. He passed away in New Delhi at the age of 91.
Tributes and condolences for the former prime minister has been pouring in with some of the most prominent leaders from business sector, political sector, and entertainment sector have come forward.
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt took to his X handle, formerly known as Twitter, and wrote, “Deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji. His contributions to India will never be forgotten.”

Riteish Deshmukh described Singh as “one of India’s finest Prime Ministers” and credited him for propelling India’s economic growth. “We will forever be indebted to his legacy. May his soul rest in eternal glory,” concluded the star.
