There have been umpteen speculations about the wedding date of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. There have been dates floating around in the media literally. And now, even when the duo and their family are tight-lipped about the marriage dates to the media, the pre-wedding festivities have already begun. It is today on the 13th of April, Wednesday, that the to-be-married couple will be performing a Ganesh Puja for late Rishi Kapoor.
Ranbir’s mother Neetu Singh and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni have left for the Puja already. They were also snapped by the paparazzi and were pretty excited as well. They waved before the shutterbugs and Neetu was also seen greeting them with a cordial Namaste from her car. Riddhima arrived in Mumbai yesterday on 12th of April to be part of her brother’s wedding. She looked quite gracious in a traditional dress. On the other hand Neetu was seen wearing a green salwar Kameez as she was being driven to the venue.

It was the appearance of Ranbir Kapoor’s aunt Rima Jain whose attire caught us by surprise. As Rima sat in her car about to leave for the Barfi actor’s residence, her look in a yellow salwar made was wonder if the “mehndi” ceremony would be done today itself.
Earlier in the day, Brahmastra director Ayan Mukherji confirmed their marriage news as he shared a lovely clip from the film on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Wishing that the best of Energies and all the Blessings, all the Joy and all the Purity, surround them as they enter an amazing new chapter of life, together forever.”

Ranbir and Alia will share the screen for the first time in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra and will reportedly tie the knot tomorrow on 14th April, 2022. If media reports are to be believed, the couple is also likely to hold a grand reception at Taj Mahal palace. Karan Johar will be a special invitee in the marriage.
