Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s highly anticipated film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is already making waves at the box office. With just a day to go before its release, the film has achieved an impressive advance booking of over ₹100 crore, surpassing the pre-sales record of Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s RRR.

As per the latest reports, Pushpa 2: The Rule has collected ₹30 crore gross pre-sales at the overseas box office, while domestic sales have reached ₹70 crore gross, including early premieres on December 4 night. This feat makes it the second Indian movie of 2024 to cross ₹100 crore worldwide advance booking gross for the first day, after Kalki 2898 AD. The film has sold over 20 lakh tickets for more than 28,000 shows across India.

The advance booking amount encompasses the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi versions of the film in 2D, 4DX, and IMAX formats. By surpassing RRR’s pre-sales record, Pushpa 2: The Rule has set the stage for a promising opening.

The question now remains whether the film can beat the advance booking records of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and KGF: Chapter 2. Baahubali 2 had recorded ₹90 crore, while KGF: Chapter 2 had minted ₹80 crore in advance booking.

In another remarkable achievement, Pushpa 2: The Rule has become the fastest movie to sell over 1 million tickets on BookMyShow, surpassing the likes of Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and KGF: Chapter 2.
