The second chapter of Yellowstone prequel, Yellowstone 1923 is like 19th century predecessor. The series revolves around an earlier generation of the Dutton family. As the the flagship show is approaching towards its end, 1923 Season 2 is on its way to appear on screen.
The renewal of second season has been confirmed in February this year. In the earlier season after the premier it became the most watched series across the US cable with 7.4 million views.
The season 2 cast will include Helen Mirren as Cara Dutton, Harrison Ford as Jacob Dutton, Darren Mann as Jack Dutton, Sebastian Roche as Father Renaud, Michelle Randolph as Elizabeth Strafford, Aminah Nieves as Teonna Rainwater, Brandon Sklenar as Spencer Dutton, Robert Patrick as Sheriff William McDowell, Jerome Flynn as Banner Creighton and Timothy Dalton as Donald Whitfield.
Although till now there hasn’t been any official statement related to the story but afyter watching first season we can decipher that this season will “introduce a new generation of Dutton family and will enter in early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Dutton who call it home.”
