The Family Man starring Manoj Bajpayee was all set to make its comback on Amazon Prime. With its exciting plot, intriguing ideas and super talented characters, this web-show has captured the imagination of the masses. However, with the on-going coronavirus outbreak, many people were Skeptical if the show will release this year as the shoot of all entertainment platforms has come to a halt.

However, Raj Nidimoru opened up on season 2’s status. “It takes four months to complete processes like sound mixing, music creation, and VFX etc. Also, the show must be readied for airing in various countries, as will be the case with a web series. This entire process involves addition of subtitles too, which is a time consuming thing, says The Family Man director Raj Nidimoru. “We had a release-strategy planned for this year,” he says of what could have been of the Manoj Bajpayee-fronted web series’ season 2. Though shooting has been completed, an elaborate post-production leg is in the pipeline. The showmaker added that they (he and Krishna DK) will have to see how many studios will be available for the post-production process during the fourth phase of the national lockdown that promises some relaxations. Nidimoru particularly piques curiosity when he confirms that goings-on amid the pandemic will serve as fodder for season three. According to the director, they are trying to comprehend the plot of next season keeping the situation of post COVID-19 world in mind, so that it makes sense to the people.
