The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will be back on Netflix on THIS date

On August 1993, the first episode of the original show was aired. Currently, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once And Always is all set to premiere on April 19 on Netflix.

Netflix has announced that the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are returning in a new exclusive series titled Once & Always, which will premiere on April 19th!

Many of the original and beloved heroes feature in this Netflix special, including the Blue Ranger Billy Cranston (David Yost), the first Black Ranger Zack Taylor (Walter E. Jones), and Barbara Goodson, the voice of villain Rita Repulsa. It also includes Catherine Sutherland, the second Pink Ranger; Steve Cardenas, the second Red Ranger; Karan Ashley, the second Yellow Ranger; and Johnny Yong Bosch, the second Black Ranger. In the special, the Rangers reunite to fight Rita Repulsa, who is revealed to have killed Trini, the original Yellow Power Ranger.

The special will also introduce a new power ranger to the team, Minh, the daughter of the yellow power ranger Trini Kwan. The new character will be played by Charlie Kersh. The special also brings back David Yost, 27 years after his controversial exit from the show. Yost played the blue power ranger, he alleged that he left the show because he was bullied on set for being gay. The show also brings back Walter E. Jones and Barbara Goodson.
