The massive success of American post apocalyptic drama television series, ‘The Last of Us Season 1’ has made the fans eager for it’s second season. After the release of the first season on 15th January, 2023, the audience is excited about the arrival of second season. ‘The Last of Us’ season 1 emerged as one of the biggest new television shows of this year. As a result of this, the season has been renewed for it’s second season.
The Last of Us Season 2 confirmation
The final episode of first season was on air on 12th March, 2023. Before the final episode was aired, the creator of the series, Neil Druckmann shared a post on his Twitter handle writting, “Season 2 is already on its way! Endure or survive”. This news has come as ray of hope for the fans.

Although the makers have confirmed about second season but the release date is yet to be announced. As the finale of first season was aired on 12th and 13th March, we can expect the filming completion of season 2 will take quite some time.

The second season will feature Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. This season can also have Gabriel Luna. Along with this season might introduce new characters named Abby Anderson and Ellie’s girlfriend Dina although the cast for the roles are yet to be finalized.
