Sony LIV has reportedly taken the streaming rights of ‘Agent’ movie

Akhil Akkineni’s much-awaited action drama film made its splendid appearance on the big screens on the 28th of April. The movie has received great reviews from the audience and the critics. After its theatrical release, fans are truly looking forward to its digital release. Well, it has been known that Sony LIV has taken the rights to the movie for its online streaming. Still, this piece of information hadn’t been confirmed by the OTT platform or the makers. As per sources, the movie will make its arrival on the digital medium in June.

Agent features Akhil Akkineni, Mammootty, Dino Morea and Sakshi Vaidya in pivotal roles. The official announcement of the film was made in September 2020, but due to covid-19 it failed to release at its expected duration. The story is written and directed by Surender Reddy. The movie has a thrilling plot that lies around an agent who is given the task to disclose data regarding a terrorist organization and the fellow seems to have a gloaming past that will play a major role in the film.

The movie will be available in various languages such as Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. According to reports, the makers have received fair earnings on the selling of rights of the film to the platform. The film creatives released its official trailer on the 18th of April and it has gained a huge number of likes and views on Youtube.
