As Jawan transitions to the world of internet streaming through an OTT channel, fans of Shah Rukh Khan can look forward to an interesting development. To maintain the film’s reasonable running time during its initial theatrical release, several crucial scenes, including a significant action sequence, were purposefully omitted. However, as part of the upcoming OTT adaptation of Jawan, these previously removed scenes will triumphantly return.
The film’s director, Atlee Kumar, had the responsibility of creating a completely new director’s cut that was designed exclusively for the Netflix streaming service. This project attempts to give spectators a more immersive and all-encompassing movie experience.
Audiences can watch Jawan when it eventually launches on the OTT platform. However, the Netflix version is going to be 20 minutes longer. Yes, you read that right. When the film drops on Netflix, audiences can expect the running time of approximately 3 hours 15 minutes as opposed to the film’s actual 2 hours 45 minute duration.
The actual date of the film releasing on the OTT giant is unknown as of now. Plus given the success of the film it is more than apparent, it will take almost two months at least to show up on OTT.
