“Palm Royale” on Apple TV+ has been renewed for a second season, just one month after the end of the first season. The series is set in 1969 and was written by Aby Sylvia. Kristen Wiig co-stars with Laura Dern, who is executive producing the film. The series is based on Juliet McDaniel’s novel, Mr. & Mrs. American Pie. Tate Taylor, Katie O’Connell Marsh and Jaywalker Studios co-produce the show. So when will Palm Royale be released? Here’s everything we know so far.
Palm Royale Season 2 potential release date
The release date for the second season is unknown. The series premiered in March of 2024 and was renewed months later in June. The series might be coming in the spring of 2025.
Palm Royale Season 2 expected cast
Palm Royale might star Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy, Kaia Gerber and Amber Chardae Robinson, as well as Kristen Wiig and Laura Dern. In the second season, Bruce Dern and Carol Burnett appear in recurring roles.
Palm Royale Season 2 expected plot
Though author Juliet McDaniel previously told Parade that the 1st season of Palm Royale was “definitely more of a prequel to” her book and that showrunner Abe Sylvia had a concept for the show “that was really focused on sort of everything that happened before” her novel, Apple TV+ has not yet released a logline for the upcoming season. However, we can expect season 2 to continue where season 1 ended.
