The fans of One Piece are in for some good as well as bad news. If we put them both together, despite of the series being renewed for season two, it won’t be returning until 2025. The confirmation regarding the upcoming season was made official after just a couple of weeks into the season 1, however, it will be a long wait for fans until Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates return.
The renewal of the series did not come as a surprise as the first season ended up breaking a record set by the first season of Stranger Things and Wednesday, by ranking as the most-watched show in 84 countries on its first weekend.
When will One Day season 2 release?
While the exact release of the new season is not yet revealed, it has been reported that it won’t be returning before 2025. The reports came via Deadline.
It has also been confirmed by Taz Skylar, who plays Sanji, that the production of the upcoming season has not yet started. In a conversation with Digital Spy, he said, “I love the way that they’re adapting it. I love it what they’re doing with each one of our characters.”
Which of the cast members will return in One Day season 2?
Since One Piece is confirmed for its return, we can assure that Straw Hat Pirates will be back too, which means return of the following:
