Netflix has cut down its prices: Red letter day for all the binge-watchers

The popular mobile pack which was earlier available at Rs 199/month is now available at Rs 149/month only

Netflix has come up with big “happy new prices” offer to make your holidays happy. The popular mobile pack which was earlier available at Rs 199/month is now available at Rs 149/month only. But the offer does not stop here other plans have also been cut down by 60 per cent. The basic plan is cut down from Rs 499/month to Rs 199/month, the standard plan from Rs 649/month to Rs 499/month and the premium plan has been reduced from Rs 799/month to Rs 649/month.  This step by Netflix is believed to be an attempt to head and shoulder above its competitors, amazon prime and Disney plus Hotstar. This offer can be availed from today, Dec 14, 2021.

Netflix has hit the nail on the head, as a whole set of popular series and movies are lined up and expected to be released in the next few weeks. The vice president, content, Netflix India, Monika Shergill in a recent interview, claimed that Netflix aims to bring entertainment to a wider base but at a fair price. They are looking forward to mixing genres and primarily focusing on regional content creation so as to cater to a large group of regional audiences.

Despite shutdowns and various other hurdles, Netflix has managed to bring quality content to its audiences regularly. When asked about the benefits of this offer to Netflix, Shergill affirmatively said that this will be far more profitable as it will pull forward a lot of eyeballs because of its appealing content.
