One of the most anticipated romantic dramas of Indian OTT content is A Cultural Misfit with a storyline that will tell viewers about Dimple and Rishi as they go through all of the common struggles they have as mismatched soul mates like chaos, adolescent angst, and love that changes over time—while trying to find themselves. The fourth and final season of Mismatched, scheduled for 2024. The characters of Dimple and Rishi will again be portrayed by Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf respectively, in the close chapter of their story, which will be available on Netflix in 2026.
Mismatched Season 4 Release Date Speculation
Mismatched Season 4 has been officially confirmed by Netflix as the last phase of the series. This announcement was made on February 3, 2026, during the Netflix India 2026 slate announcement, which finalize the coming-of-age romantic storyline between Dimple and Rishi and ending after 4 seasons.
An exact release date for Season 4 of Mismatched has not yet been announced. However, there are indications that Season 4 is in production or will start soon, as there are reports of filming at locations such as Marine Drive in Mumbai, as well. Therefore, since Season 3 was released on December 13, 2024, and because of the announcement that Season 4 is in production, it is likely that Mismatched Season 4 will be released on Netflix at some point during 2026, although there has been no specific time frame given by Netflix.
Mismatched Season 4 Expected Cast
The main cast will return for the last season: Prajakta Koli will play Dimple Ahuja and Rohit Saraf will play Rishi Singh Shekhawat. Their relationship continues to be the emotional center of the show and will be a central focus in its final act.
