Now, the film is preparing for an OTT release in both Hindi and Tamil. Merry Christmas is expected to launch on Netflix on Friday, March 8, 2024.
The film premiered in theatres on January 12, 2024, and is now available on OTT approximately two months later. Many people enjoyed the suspense thriller because of its writing and the performances of the major actors.
In an interview with ETimes, producer Ramesh Taurani claimed that they sought Vijay for the film because he was the right fit for the role. Furthermore, Katrina was always the only potential for the job, from the start. Sanjay Kapoor plays a key part in the Hindi version of the film, while Radhika Sarathkumar stars in the Tamil version. Vinay Pathak also appears briefly in the Hindi version, with Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar making special cameos.
