The film depicts the life of coach Syed Abdul Rahim, highlighting his hard work, devotion, and passion for football, which led to his contributions to India’s national squad. After the team’s loss in 1952, Rahim chose to coach them again, although he struggled with personal issues during training.

After another setback against France in 1960, he considers retiring, but his wife encourages him not to give up. Rahim chooses to coach the team again, promising to never coach again if they don’t win. Ultimately, the Indian team won gold at the Asian Games.
