An American police procedural crime drama TV show called The Rookie made its television premiere on ABC on October 16, 2018. The Rookie, a television series that Alexi Hawley created for ABC, has recently finished four successful seasons. The show centres on John Nolan, a 45-year-old freshly divorced Pennsylvanian who goes to Los Angeles to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Authorities Department after unwittingly aiding police during a bank heist (LAPD).

The producers of the fifth instalment of the series, “The Rookie,” have already revealed the official release date. Niecy Nash will feature in a proposed FBI spin-off of the series, which ABC has commissioned a pilot for and will air on September 27, 2022.
