The first look at Squid Game’s second season, starring Lee Jung-jae, is now out. The first glimpses of the second season have piqued interest.

The Korean drama has received a lot of love from the fans, and it’s always on people’s binge-watch lists. So now it’s time to continue the K-drama.

Squid Game was launched two years ago, and the Korean drama is about the hidden world of capitalism, with 456 players thirsty for money battling to the death in a series of childish games.

It is the most awarded series, and the second season of the popular Korean drama is about to begin. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has returned with season 2 on Netflix.

People are eager because the second season will pick up where the first season left off, continuing Gi-hun’s story. Gi-hun desires revenge since the savagery of the games has transformed him.

During the final episode of Squid Game, Gi-Hun discovers that the world has been evil, which changes his perspective.

He does try to move on in his life, giving cash awards he has earned to the families of his friends. Netflix has officially provided a first peek at Squid Game Season 2.

 

The second season would see Gi-hun try to figure out who started the Games and stop it for good. The new season will also have a quest to reintroduce the Front Man, the Salesman, and Hwang Jun-ho. Netflix has also revealed the first photographs for Squid Game Season 2 on their official Instagram account. Gi-hun comes face to face with the Salesman.

The other photograph shows one of the Games’ guards. Park Gyu-young, the star of Celebrity and Sweet Home, will also appear in the next season. Squid Game Season 2 is set to premiere in late 2024.
