Lock Upp is known for its strings of controversies among the public, there are a lot of controversies related to the show, it was one of the most liked show by the audience in the OTT platform. The show was produced by Ekta Kapoor, hosted by Kangana Ranaut, and Karan Karundrra was the jailor.
The show got concluded on Saturday, after the announcement of comedian Munawar Faruqui as the winner of the first season. The most interesting part of the show was, it had controversial celebrates as the prisoners. The basic rule of the show was the contestants were given tasks which they were said to complete, and win in order to stay in the jail. The producer of the show Ekta Kapoor has thanked Kangana Ranaut for her support towards the show. Ekta further revealed that the idea behind the show was given by actor Ridhi Dogra.
Ekta even celebrated the success of the show on Sunday, with a bash that which was attended by host Kangana, the contestants, and Ekta’s friends even Ridhi was in the attendance too during the bash. Ekta even took to her instagram account and shared a video that included the pictures from the bash, and the videos from the finale and the clips of the show. She captioned the post and expressed her joy towards the success. Ekta captioned her post in instagram and wrote, “Gratitude!
