Rob and John Owen Lowe’s father-son comedy Unstable, which will be available on Netflix on March 30, has debuted a first peek trailer.

Unstable centres on a shy son (John Owen Lowe) who joins his hugely successful and eccentric father (Rob Lowe) at work in order to prevent the demise of both and their prosperous biotech firm. The interaction between Rob and John Owen Lowe on social media, where John Owen frequently mocks his father, served as inspiration.

Ellis Dragon, played by Rob Lowe, is a well adored, quirky, and narcissist-neighboring biotech entrepreneur who strives to improve the world. His emotions are likewise out of control. Jackson Dragon, his kid, is none of those things (John Owen Lowe). So the question is, can Jackson do what may truly be impossible: escape the shadow of his legendary father while still saving Ellis and his business and mending their strained relationship?

Victor Fresco and Lowes both served as executive producers and co-creators of the series. A production executive is Marc Buckland. Aaron Branch, Rachel Marsh, Emma Ferreira, and Sian Clifford are also featured in the cast.
