The film’s plot revolves around a guy named Lee Ahnwho becomes trapped in the past while attempting to open the gate of time. In the past, he attempted to prevent the alien from hiding a human body in order to escape.
Presently, an unknown entity is threatening humanity and killing people. Lee Ahn travels to the future in order to destroy the alien and save humanity; how does he get there? The film also shows how he plans to save humanity.
The film cast features Ryu Jun-yeol as Mureuk, Kim Woo-bin as Thunder, Lee Hanee as Min Gae-in, Jo Woo-jin as Cheong-woon, Kim Eui-sung as Ja-jang, Jin Seon-kyu as Neung-pa and Yoon Kyung-ho is Samsik, among others.
Choi Dong-hoon directed and wrote Alienoid: Return to the Future. Ahn Soo-hyun produced it under the Caper Film label. Kim Tae-kyung did the cinematography, and Shin Min-kyung edited the film.
