Singer Bhupinder Singh passes away at the age of 82

His wife Mitali stated that the funeral will be on Tuesday as per the reports.

The renowned singer Bhupinder Singh passed away on Monday at 7:45 p.m. in Mumbai’s Andheri neighborhood’s Criticare hospital. He was 82 and passed away mostly due to a heart attack. His wife Mitali stated that the funeral will be on Tuesday as per the reports.
Initially, Bhupinder Singh was admitted to Criticare Asia hospital due to an infection in the colon.
On the matter, the director of the hospital said, “He was admitted to our hospital 10 days ago, We were conducting studies because we had a strong suspicion that he had colon disease. Meanwhile, he acquired Covid-19. On Monday morning, his condition deteriorated, and we had to place him on a ventilator. At 7:45 pm, he suffered a heart arrest and passed suddenly.”
Bhupinder, who was born in Amritsar, began studying music with his father. And began his career at All India Radio and he was also associated with the Delhi Doordarshan Center. Late on he was invited to Mumbai in 1962 after Madan Mohan, a composer of music, saw him play the guitar at a party. The singer was well known for songs like Dil Dhoondta Hai, Naam Gum Jaayega, Ek Akela Is Shaher Mein, and among many others.
