Doja Cat revealed ‘Scarlet,’ the long-awaited follow-up to her 2021 record ‘Her World,’ on social media on August 29. While no other details about the album have been confirmed, Doja Cat has said that it will be released on September 22.
Doja Cat recently released the single ‘Paint The Town Red’ on August 4. It was the singer and rapper’s second release of 2023, following the release of his comeback track ‘Attention’ in June.It is presently uncertain if both ‘Paint The Town Red’ and ‘Attention’ will be on her upcoming album ‘Scarlet’.
Doja has also released the Top 10 Billboard tune ‘Vegas’ from the Elvis soundtrack and performed on the remix for SZA’s Number One-peaking single, ‘Kill Bill’. She has also announced her first-ever North American arena tour, which will begin later this year and will feature Ice Spice and Doechii as support tickets can be purchased here.
Doja Cat deleted her Threads account and lost 180,000 Instagram followers this month after attacking her fans in a series of posts. She had sent out a series of tweets criticising her admirers, particularly fan accounts who referred to herself as “kittenz.”
